Our studio specializes in private, semi-private, and group sessions set in an elegant, welcoming studio for individuals of all fitness levels who seek to improve their health and wellness. Private Sessions are the most efficient means of learning the fundamentals of Pilates and of obtaining your fitness goals and objectives. One-on-one sessions provide our clients with individual attention from our instructors, offering customized workouts based upon the clients’ needs. This is a great starting point for anyone new to the Pilates.

Duet Sessions offer customized training for 2 individuals who have similar Pilates experiences, fitness abilities and goals. Group Sessions are a great way for 3 or more individuals to learn together and increase their training. Group sessions are recommended in addition to private or duet sessions in order to deepen your practice.

Our Pilates Instructors

Lisa C. Butcher, Certified Pilates Instructor

Lisa is a long-time fitness enthusiast and has had a healthy and active lifestyle since childhood. Lisa is certified to teach Pilates mat work (Contrology) and apparatus through the PeakPilates program. Lisa is starting her third level of training and anticipates completing the "comprehensively trained program" through the PeakPilates System by summer of 2010.

Before Lisa started her career in Pilates she was a work at home mom. Lisa has two children and now that they are getting older, Lisa feels that teaching Pilates gives her the flexibility in her schedule to stay actively involved in her children’s lives, as well as the ability to remain fit while working at something she truly enjoys - Pilates! Lisa loves training individuals in Pilates because it helps them to be stronger in the mind, body and spirit. Pilates also creates an awareness of the importance and benefits of strengthening the core and spine for optimal performance in our everyday duties of life.

Many of the benefits individuals receive from Pilates include improved strength, flexibility abd balance, toned and lean muscles without bulk, reduced stress, boosted energy, increased joint range of motion, improved circulation, relief from back pain and improvement of joint stress. Tiffany Durham Maddalena, Certified Pilates Instructor

Tiffany is a Peak Pilates Certified Instructor in Austin, Texas. Growing up in Newport Beach, Ca. Tiffany had a strong propensity to the healing arts. As a young child, Tiffany was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis which propelled her desire to overcome adversity at an early age. With years of adolescent discomfort, Tiffany searched, with the help of her mother for an answer to her pain. In 1980, at the age of 10, she had her first experience with Oriental medicine which proved almost a miraculous cure to her JRA. Massage and acupuncture lead her to study in the hopes of affecting others as profoundly as she.

Tiffany has a strong, but gentle touch with over 12 years in the healing arts behind her and her progression to Pilates has helped her to keep her own body in healthy harmony. Tiffany is starting her third level of training and will complete the “comprehensively trained program” through PeakPilates System by the summer of 2010. Her approach is integrative, with a primary goal at listening closely to individual needs. She believes whole heartedly that we are all unique and with that she strives to do more than teach a Pilates class. Her desire is to strengthen the whole body and mind. Joseph Pilates' philosophy that to strengthen the body, the mind comes first, is an important method Tiffany incorporates into her teaching technique.
