Treatment for Spider Veins and Reticular Varicose Veins

Sclerotherapy is a non-surgical treatment to eliminate spider and reticular varicose veins. Asclera^™ is an FDA approved polidocanol injection used in doctor’s offices to treat these veins in the lower extremities. Once injected, Asclera^™ acts by damaging the cell lining of blood vessels, causing them to close and eventually disappear. Patients can expect a treatment success rate of 95%. Treatments are safe, with no downtime, and little to no pain.

After the injection session is completed, clients will apply compression with a stocking or bandage, and be instructed to walk for 15-20 minutes daily for 2-7 days depending on area and type of veins treated. Mild injection site discomfort and/or injection site warmth may occur in some cases. In some cases, repeat injections may need to occur 3 to 6 weeks after treatment for optimal results.
